Cookie Policy
Document version: 2026-08-v1 · Book2Clean platform, Ireland
1. What this policy covers
This policy explains the cookies and similar browser storage that Book2Clean uses when you visit our website or use the app, and why each one exists. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
2. Strictly necessary storage
Book2Clean uses only storage that is strictly necessary to provide the service you asked for. This includes:
- Authentication — your signed-in session is stored in your browser so you stay signed in between pages and visits. Clearing it signs you out.
- Security — tokens used to protect account actions, verification steps and payment redirects against abuse.
- Preferences — your chosen interface language and small interface settings, so the app opens the way you left it.
Because these are strictly necessary for a service you request, they do not require consent under Irish and EU rules. We do not use them to profile you.
3. What we do not use
Book2Clean does not use advertising cookies, cross-site tracking pixels, or third-party marketing trackers, and we do not sell or share browsing data with advertisers.
4. Third parties we rely on
Some strictly necessary storage is set by the providers that run parts of the platform on our behalf, specifically our hosting and database provider, our payment provider (for credit purchases), our email provider and Google Maps address lookup. These providers act as processors under our instructions and are covered in the Privacy Policy.
5. Managing storage in your browser
You can clear or block cookies and local storage in your browser settings at any time. If you block the storage described in section 2, you will not be able to stay signed in, and features such as verification and credit purchases will not work.
6. Changes and contact
If we introduce any storage that is not strictly necessary, we will update this policy and ask for your consent before it is used. Questions about this policy can be sent to our support team through the contact page.
