Question 1

How much does Book2Clean cost clients?

Accepted Answer

Nothing. Posting a request, receiving quotes, messaging cleaners, booking, rebooking and reviewing are all free for clients. You pay only your cleaner, for the cleaning work.

Question 2

How many quotes will I get?

Accepted Answer

Up to three. A maximum of three cleaners can respond to a request, which keeps the quotes serious and easy to compare. If nobody responds, we tell you and help you adjust the request.

Question 3

Do I have to give a budget?

Accepted Answer

No. A budget is optional. Cleaners quote from your service, property details and extras using their own rates.

Question 4

How do I pay my cleaner?

Accepted Answer

Directly, in the way you both agree. Book2Clean does not process cleaning payments and takes no commission from them.

Question 5

Can I cancel or change a booking?

Accepted Answer

Yes. You can edit or cancel a request before booking, and reschedule or cancel a booking in the app. Cancellations close to the appointment ask for a reason and may compensate the cleaner with credits for the lost slot.

Question 6

Is my address and phone number safe?

Accepted Answer

Your full address is shared only with the cleaner you book. Contact details are blocked from public fields and free-text messages, and all chat happens inside CleanConnect.

Question 7

Someone sent me a recommendation link — what do I do?

Accepted Answer

Open the link, or use “Book a Recommended Cleaner” on our homepage and paste the link or code. You will see which cleaner was recommended, then create a free account and your request goes straight to that cleaner.

Question 8

Does Book2Clean take a commission?

Accepted Answer

No. You keep 100% of what the client pays you for the cleaning work.

Question 9

Which jobs will I see?

Accepted Answer

Jobs for the services you offer, inside the Working Radius you set around your base location, while the request still has fewer than three responses.

Question 10

Do I get credits back if a job falls through?

Accepted Answer

Yes, in the cases we control: if a client cancels a booking late, credits are refunded or compensated automatically, and no-shows can be reported for review.

Question 11

Why should I verify my identity?

Accepted Answer

Verified cleaners show a trust badge, reach higher levels sooner and are chosen far more often by clients.

Question 12

How do levels work?

Accepted Answer

Levels — Starter, Trusted, Professional and Elite — are calculated from verification, completed jobs, ratings and reliability. They are shown to clients on your profile.

Question 13

Do Helpers pay anything?

Accepted Answer

No. Helpers never pay to receive or accept job offers. Credits are a cleaner-only tool.

Question 14

Who pays a Helper?

Accepted Answer

The cleaner who offered the job, at the rate stated in the offer you accepted.

Question 15

Am I employed by Book2Clean?

Accepted Answer

No. Helpers and cleaners are independent workers. Book2Clean provides the platform where the work is offered and agreed.
